What can i do, how can i contribute?
I prayed to God for Wisdom and Guidance everyday...
Proverbs 3:5,6
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
And while having a hot shower, the idea flashed into my head.
Using NLP I heave learnt, i can simplify it and use it to boost the USF.

Someone's Opinion of You does not have to become your reality
Are you lazy, hopeless, timid, unlucky, untidy, mediocre, ordinary, slow in learning etc?
If you should have any negative beliefs about yourself, you got to start asking, who told you that?
One of the top motivation speakers, Les Brown was diagnosed to be mentally retarded when he was young. He was removed from the 5th grade and put into the 4th grade and proceeded on in life slower than "usual".
He walked into a classroom one day and was asked by the teacher to go to the board. Les Brown refused and told the teacher that he couldn't do it becasue he was mentally retarded. The teacher looked at him in the eye and said, "Don't ever say that again young man, Someone's Opinion of you does not have to become your reality."
That was a turning point in his life.

Spook Of Life
Welcome to this blog!

Let me start by asking you a question? Are you happy where you are, with what you have, with whom you are?
The answer to your question would largely depend on what you focus on at the moment, wouldn't it? Lets just take me for example, if i focus on the fact that I have a lovely wife and son and a beautiful home and car, a great physical body, i will say i am happy.
But if i think of the fact that I have not spend enough quality time with my parents and friends, that I have not yet help bring anyone to salvation is Christ and that I still do not feel that I have mastered mysekf and contribute enough, i would say i am not happy.
What am i driving at? At any point of time, we can be happy by just focusing and being grateful with what we are blessed with, but at the same time, there is so much more space for us to grow.
At one point of time, it was my belief that in order to have excellence in one area of my life, it will have to be at the expense of another. E.g. In order to be financially successful, i will need to give up time and that means my relationship with my family, my creator and time to exercise is to be sacrificed. That was the point of time, i have no idea how to manage my spook of life effectively.
As i grow, i realised and learnt that there are success fundamentals which i need to first master before i rush out and make a million dollars or to build a beautiful temple of God (my body).
I subsequently learnt that every Spook of my life is to be managed to enjoy life to the fullest.
Just think about it, can you really be totally joyful and successful if any one Spook of Your life is not handled? Lets face the truth right now, if any Spook is not managed well, it will hinder every other Spook wouldn't it? (Refer to the diagram of my Spook below)

Some of us have already experienced it and faced huge problems because we have not taken an effort to master every Spook. For myself, the first sign of trouble was finances and there is where i went in search of Financial Mastery skills to get me out of the trouble.
And am i grateful for that trouble now that i think of it, because it was then i was exposed to Success Principles and learnt the importance of "becoming" before even "doing" and "having".
What this really means is that we can never become wealthy if we do not first become a wealthy person internally. I am not going into the spiritual realms, but just think about this, who we are, our character specifically is a summation of all of habits. And our daily habits are the things that create long term result isn't it?
If it is your habit to save, invest and create wealth, you are already a wealthy person even if you do not have a lot yet.
But if you are a spendthrift, guess how long your lottery money will last even if you struck a million. Research shows that within a year, 90 over % of lottery winners go bankrupt! Why?
Because they are not wealthy people to began with. By that i mean they do not have the skills, habits and mindset for wealth.
In this blog, i will share with you 2 components which are essential to having total success in life:
1) Success Fundamentals
This is where you learn to "install" important skills to create and handle success. Remember, you got to "become", before you can 'Do' and 'Have'.
2) Spooks Strategies
This is where i will share strategies which i used and achieved tremendous success in areas of relationship, finances, physical health, personal mastery and even spirituality.
So do hang around and do shrae with me your strategies and your thoughts.

The First Step to Success: Knowing What you Want!
Thee are 5 principles of success derived from the traditional NLP teachings which is relevant up to today.
1) Know Your Outcome
Seems obvious isn't it? But the thing is most people do not know what they want. But most people want what they don't want. "We don't want our current job, our current boss, our current physical health, the piling debts etc."
Well, knowing what we do not want is actually a good first step, from there we will be able to derive what we really want.
So why is it important to know what we want?
Think about it, if we only know what we do not want, we are always running away from things. But if we do not know what we want, we are running away in a random direction. So chances are we will run to a place we may not want again.
But if we do know what we want, we can run towards that direction. Does it make sense?
2) Take Action
Ah ha! Feeling guilty already? Maybe, maybe not. People who know what they want, may not take action!!!
Why? Well, from my experience, it starts from some lousy beliefs... Listen and see if these sound familiar...
"Well, I got to be realistic... I got to pay my bills." "I will never be like him/her, they are born lucky with xxx talent or resouces..."
These are some of the internal conversation people have inside them EVERYDAY!
We will touch more on beliefs in a while. For now, understand that without actions, there will be no results! You already know that don't you?
3) Sensory Awareness: Know if you are getting results from your Actions!
We got to be aware if what we are doing is working or now. Some times, we just choose a particular action or strategy aiming for a particular goal and we become so engross in the stratgey that we forgot we what we want.
Remember a time you went dating with someone you love with the outcome of spending quality time? But along the way, the dating process didn't really work out and you become so engross with making it right that you forgot about the "quality time" outcome? So we got to be acute, or sharp with whether our actions are producing the results we want or not.
4) Behaviour Flexibility
What this really means is that once we are aware of the results of actions, we should change our behaviour or action until we achieve the results we want.
An expert in this area is a man named Thomas Edition. If he had not been an expert in this, we will probably be reading using candles...
5) Operate from physiology and psychology of Excellence
Sounds like a whole load of jargons! Do you ever remember a time when you wake up feeling lousy? For some, this feeling is recent!
But aren't there times you feel great waking up. Like when you are going for a holiday of your dreams?
These 2 different "states" do affect our ability to produce results, you would agree wouldn't you.
Imagine going for a presentation or even a date in a lousy "state". Compare this to entering the presentation room in a powerful, confident "state". In most cases, my gies would be that we all prefer to be in a great state and chances of getting the results we want in these states are much higher...
In NLP, state management is one fun and exicting area that we will touch on later.
So there we have the 5 principles of success. It has evolved since the beginning of times, and personally, i have no qualms about these issues, as long as it produce results and help empower people who use it.

How to Structure Outcome
These are nine questions based on NLP technology to help us structure our outcome.
1) What do you want?
2) Evidence: How will i know i am succeeding/ already succeeded?
- How do i know that i am on track?
- How do i measure my success?
- How will i know when i have gotten it?
3) Specifics: Where, when and with whom?
- Where do i want it to be?
- When specifically do i want it?
- In what context do i want this?
4) What resources do i want?
- Objects
- People
- Role Models
- Personal Qualities
- Money
5) Control: Can i start and maintain the outcome?
- What an i do directly to get this outcome?
- How can i persuade others to help me?
6) Ecology: What are the wider consequences?
- What time and effort will this outcome need? Everything has opporuntity cost.
- Who else is affected and how will they feel?
- What will you have to give up when you achieve this outcome?
- What is good about the present situation?
- What else could happen when i get my outcome?
7) Is this outcome keeping with who you are?
8) How do my outcomes fit together?
9) Action Plan: What do i do next?
1) What do you want?

Decide What You Want for Yourself in 2009
I received this email from one of my mentors, Jack Canfield.
It is an article he wrote to share with everyone.
If you have yet to set goals for 2009, it will be an extremely good article for you.
Decide What You Want for Yourself in 2009
by Jack Canfield
In order to get what you want, you must first decide what you want.
Most people really foul up at this crucial first step because they simply can't see how it's possible to get what they want -- so they don't even let themselves want it.
What scientists now know about how the brain works is that you must first decide the 'WHAT' before your brain can figure out the 'HOW'. Once you lock-in your desires, your mind and the universe can step in.
Are you ready to get started?
STEP 1: Decide to Dream BIG and Be Willing to Dream BIG Dreams
Big dreams not only inspire you, but they also compel others to want to play big, too. Don't think you should only dream big during economic heydays. Dream big every day, especially during tough times.
As soon as you commit to a big dream and really go after it, your subconscious creative mind will come up with big ideas to make it happen. You'll start attracting the people, resources, and opportunities you need into your life to make your dream come true.
STEP 2: Set Goals That Will Stretch You
Another value in giving yourself permission to go after the big dreams is that big dreams require you to grow in order to achieve them. In fact, in the long run, this is the greatest benefit you will receive from pursuing your dreams -- not so much the outer trappings of fulfilling the dream (an expensive car, impressive house, loads of money and philanthropic opportunities), but who you become in the process.
As I've seen many times over, the outer symbols of success can all be easily lost. Houses burn down, companies go bankrupt, relationships end, cars get old, bodies age and fame wanes, but who you are, what you have learned, and the new skills you have developed never go away. These are the true prizes of success.
STEP 3: Service to Others
As you pinpoint what you want to go after, think about how you can be of service to others. When your dreams include this element, you'll find yourself speeding along the path to accomplishing that goal. People want to be part of something that contributes and makes a difference.
STEP 4: Turn Your Dreams into Goals and Objectives
Once you are clear about what you want, you must turn each item into a measurable goal. By measurable, I mean measurable in space and time, how much and by when. Don't just say that you want to lose weight, for instance. Be specific, push yourself to higher limits, and set dates. Say something like, "I want to lose 50 pounds by summer and participate in my community's 10K for charity by the 4th of July."
Similarly, your boss, your friends, your spouse, your brain -- God, the Universe -- can't figure out what you want unless you specifically tell them what it is.
What do you want -- exactly -- and when do you want it by?
Step 5: Write Your Goals Down
Write your goals down in detail, and read your list of goals every day. This will keep your subconscious mind focused on what you want. For an even more powerful approach, close your eyes and focus on each goal and ask yourself, "What is one thing I could do today to move toward the achievement of this goal?" Write down your answers and take those actions.
I recommend writing down a minimum of 3 goals in each of the following 7 areas:
1. Financial Goals
2. Career/Business Goals
3. Free Time/Family Time
4. Health/Appearance Goals
5. Relationship Goals
6. Personal Growth
7. Making a Difference

Rich, Fit and Happy
Can we be rich, fit and happy all at the same time?
That is actually a lousy question.
The right question should be, HOW can we be rich, fit and happy all at the same time?
That was the question i asked myself and God said in Matthew 7:7," Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you"
In the past, i use to believe that in order to be rich, i got to give up something else that is important to me, like my time with my family, or giving up security of my family by risking a lot. Or it may be time to keep fit and healthy, sometimes even sinning against God by doing things that are not right.
After all, aren't rich people nasty, mean and evil? It is said that the love of money is the root of all evil isn't it?
That is definitely true. Anyone who loves money cannot love God. What i am asking you to do is not love money and make it your god, but learn to be a good steward of God.
But what is the true? Do rich people love money and work hard for it? or is it the people who lack of money actually worry and think about money all the time. This question, i will let you decide.
In fact, one way to show that you have power over money is the ability to give it away. Most people do not have that type of power, because every single cent is so precious to them so much so that they cannot bear to part with it.
And no, i am not saying spend money in an easy fashion.
Now, money is only one area of life which we should master. It will not make us happy, but i believe it is a fuel to let us enjoy happiness.
The next area is health and fitness. It is another enabler to make us happy.
Looking at the spook of life, a huge part is actually relationship - with our friends, family, self and God. It is my believe that there is where true joy and happiness is created.
Health and wealth are the fuel or batteries that enable these.
In this blog, it is my aim to share strategies to achieve all these Rich, Fit and Happy within a short period of time, so we can enjoy all aspect through our lifes.
